Beautiful

It's been a long time since I've felt beautiful. I don't know if it's because of the weight-gain or my own insecurities, but I this could be the thing missing in my life. I want the admiration of people as I walk-by.

I miss the adoring fans....

On the road again...

Traveling is really taking its toll on me. I love meeting with prospective students and high school representatives, but the idea of not going home each night is a little depressing. I have a family now. Traveling holds nothing for me if I can't share it with the one I love.

I love my new place of employment! It's taking some getting used to, but I absolutely love it.

I know this entry isn't eloquent, but I need to be cathartic for a moment.

We are Jedi, that is enough.

We are really hoping to recruit crew members to be a part of our little voyage.

It should be good times.

I survived week 3 of TACRAO....my body has no recollection of this level of fatigue...

A New Life

So...

I've been in Tejas for about two and a half weeks now, and I love it!

Kris and I are doing well, and we both love our jobs. We're still getting our bearings, but we love Fort Worth.

This journey is still a little scary, but it's also super exciting!!

Beginning of the End

Today marks one week until my time at UE comes to an end. I have spent the last 6.5 years working my butt off in the halls of this fine institution. Whether as a student or an administrator, my college career has been filled with many experiences that have shaped my life; for better or for worse.

We should be better than this...

I will not support the celebration of a life ended. The end of terror and tyranny, but not death. We need to wake up and realize this is why people don't like us. Fat, lazy, loud, overly-opinionated Americans. We have no idea what we or this country stands for, we can't define it, but we're sure quick to point fingers at individuals, even within our own borders.

I don't get us!

Excuse me!

If you are unable to perform tasks that require technology, please don't yell in my face and slap my hand... This makes me very upset, and I would hate to knock your ass out.

Instead, how about we listen to a younger, well-trained colleague...he might actually know what he's talking about...just saying.
