We should be better than this...

I will not support the celebration of a life ended. The end of terror and tyranny, but not death. We need to wake up and realize this is why people don't like us. Fat, lazy, loud, overly-opinionated Americans. We have no idea what we or this country stands for, we can't define it, but we're sure quick to point fingers at individuals, even within our own borders.

I don't get us!

  1. This is not an attack, it is an opinion:

We put down mad dogs, don't we?

I personally would have liked to see him come in and be tried for the crimes for which he was responsible, but a decision had to be made by that fire team and only one life was lost.

Not everyone can say this, but I know what I stand for and know it because I am an American. What needs to change is education, both in the classroom and at home. Without vitriol, without haste, with fullness of comprehension and slowness to anger. We must EDUCATE to eliminate hate, glee at first blood, and the self-importance that defines the gross majority of our country.
